Anybody know where I can get some inspiration, how much it costs, etc.? I'd appreciate it.

I've been doing so many portraits I think I might burn them. I gotta do something different or I'll just explode! Any ideas would be helpful.

I know I haven't updated in a while, but I swear I'll have some new stuff soon. Even if I have to take pictures with a frikkin camera.

I'm a zombie today. Is nice. I might have a pic or two of myself later. School was awesome, it was college day so I was going around to all the art schools & they were like "Hey d'you make that shirt?" Yessir!

My army of zombies turned out to be more like a squad. Chickens. "But I didn't want to get suspended" BS man, no one got suspended. Nothing in the rulebook says you can't dress up for Halloween!

Anyway, I've got a couple zombie things, a businessman zombie and a zombie comic page. Oh right I've been inking stuff lately. Looks nice. I'll try to have some stuff up tomorrow guys, seriously.

Hey all. First post of the year, oh dear.

It's been a while, I know. And I can't submit any new art because we got a new computer and I can't find one of the cords for the scanner. Sorry folks. I have been drawing some though, mostly in art class (and a little in chemistry).

Well, Spider-man 3 comes out this weekend. I'm going to go see it then, because I love me some Spider-man. (Though I think they could have done much better with the symbiote suit) Also, free comic book day is May 5th, the day after, and some of my friends said they'd have a gathering to watch some Star Wars on that day too. Should be a most excellent weekend, indeed.

Hm, I should talk about art some, shouldn't I? This is dA after all. I think I'll talk about my story concept for Crucifix. Crucifix is the name of that vampire guy I used to draw. (The one with the pointy ears and the tie) The "story" in my head was that this guy is a powerful, arrogant vampire who has enslaved the earth to do as he sees fit. And of course there's a bunch of underground rebels who will try to thwart him, these being lead by Zeth (the dude with the slicked-back hair and sideburns). Though I've never really planned on making a comic for these characters, this was just a concept I had floating around, y'know. I think I need a pocket journal or something for these kinds of ideas...
My idea for Crux's character is sort of an interesting mix of Naruto-meets-Alucard. He's really snotty and full of himself, and on top of that he's virtually unstoppable (certainly that's more than enough reason for an uprising, right?). Zeth is a more serious guy who wants freedom, and I thought that they would make good enemies. Anyway, I thought I'd share that.

What I really need to work on is CrosSpade, though. I've had some positive comments from my art classmates about how they like my characters and they think I'd do well as a comic artist. I recently finished a drawing of Esau that turned out fairly well, and I think I'll do my other characters in the future.


I think that's enough of a journal update for now.

I've been very tired lately. Too tired to stay up and play videogames/draw/watch stuff at night. So I haven't been able to draw any CrosSpade stuff as of late. I've got to finish drawing a tattoo for this chick at school too, but that shouldn't take too long.


Afterwords, I think I'll start drawing either another version of Dire, my crow-controlling sidecharacter, or some action poses of the main crew.

Ooo, also need to start drawing some of the enemies. My God I have a bunch of junk to draw. What am I doing!? I need to start sketching! But...Medievia...is so....awesome... O_O

Anyway, I'm off to train in the arts of theivery. Fare ye well.
